Summer vacation in Alpbach
Surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps, mountain lovers feel instantly at home here – and then some. The Alpbachtal offers endless opportunities to be active, with around 900 kilometres of marked hiking trails and cycling routes ensuring plenty of variety.
One day starts with a sunrise hike up the Gratlspitz, another invites you to cool off in a crystal-clear mountain lake. Or perhaps you’re in the mood for an adrenaline rush? The Lauser Sauser delivers thrills with a high-speed ride on the alpine coaster.
Summer in the Alpbachtal is pure joy: lush green meadows, colourful flower-filled farmhouses, breathtaking alpine panoramas and, above all, glorious sunshine accompany you every step of the way. A pleasure in every sense.
Winter paradise
We’re lucky to be right in the heart of one of the most beautiful ski areas in Tyrol: the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau. Ski enthusiasts and toboggan fans alike will find plenty to enjoy here. A total of 113 kilometres of pistes, 45 modern lifts, two snow parks and dedicated race tracks promise endless variety on the slopes. After an action-packed day, 25 mountain huts invite you to stop for a well-earned break.
The ski area spans four mountains, each with its own character: the Wiedersberger Horn, the Schatzberg in the Wildschönau, the Markbachjoch and the Reither Kogel – guaranteeing diversity for skiers of all levels.
Not keen on skiing? No problem at all. Winter hiking and snowshoe tours offer a slower, more contemplative way to experience the season – often accompanied by our hiking guide Tom. Step by step through the snow, crisp mountain air filling your lungs, sunlight sparkling on the winter landscape. Pure tranquillity.
And afterwards? A visit to the warm whirlpool in our wellness area. That’s when you truly understand what a winter wonderland feels like.
