Regardless of where you’re coming from – we will show you how to get to your holiday home in Alpbach in Tyrol.
If you are coming from the north, for example from Munich, it is best to take the A8 motorway towards Salzburg. At the town of Rosenheim, change to the A93 motorway towards Kufstein. Upon reaching Austria, make sure to buy a “Vignette”, a little sticker indicating that you have paid the toll and are allowed to drive on the motorway. Follow the A12 motorway towards Innsbruck and leave the motorway at the Kramsach exit. From there, Alpbach is well signposted and can be reached in around 15 minutes.
If you are coming from the south, for example from Italy via Brenner Pass, take the A13 Brenner motorway towards Innsbruck. From there, change to the A12 motorway towards Kufstein, take the Kramsach exit and reach the village of Alpbach via Brixlegg.
If you are coming from the west, for example from the Vorarlberg region or Switzerland, follow the A12 motorway via Landeck and Innsbruck towards Kufstein. Here, take the Kramsach exit and continue to the village Alpbach.
If you are coming from the east, for example from Vienna, Linz or Salzburg, then the A1 motorway is your first choice. Continue via the A8 and A93 motorways following the signs to Kufstein. From there, follow the A12 towards Innsbruck, leave the motorway at the Kramsach exit and reach the village of Alpbach via Brixlegg.
