Regional delights

Our gourmet partners

Here we show you where our culinary delights come from. And introduce you to our suppliers.

Our regional suppliers

The ingredients travel short distances to reach us in the kitchen. Almost all the products served at the Alpbacherhof are sourced from local farmers and come from species-appropriate animal husbandry. What is particularly important to our kitchen team is that the animal is completely processed.

Wimer's free-range chickens

From Kramsach in Tyrol

Our tender chicken meat comes from Wimer’s free-range chicken farm in Kramsach. For the Gögle family, species-appropriate husbandry, plenty of space to roam and natural feeding are top priorities.

This is how we guarantee the best taste and sustainability – directly from Tyrol.

Oberblaikenhof

The Jost family

The Oberblaikenhof farm, owned by the Jost family, is a prime example of meat producers in the Alpbachtal valley. They run a mountain farm in Inneralpbach and are farmers through and through. The animals are kept in species-appropriate conditions and can roam freely on the lush meadows. This is of course the very best for the animals, and the meat is not only very tasty but also of the highest quality.

Wimer's free-range pigs

In Kramsach

The extensive fields in Moosfeld in Kramsach are the playground for the animals from ‘Wimer’s Freilandschwein’ (Wimer’s free-range pigs), lovingly cared for by Christina Gögl.

The pigs can feel right at home here. They are free to decide whether to wallow in the mud or sleep on straw in the warm barn – without slatted floors. Slow growth gives the meat plenty of time to develop its full flavour.
